Heavy Equipment Operator**

**Job Description**

As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for running dozers, excavators, and rollers to prepare earthwork for construction projects. This role requires a strong understanding of civil and site work construction.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate dozers, rollers, and excavators efficiently without supervision.

+ Prepare and manage earthwork for construction projects, including grading and leveling.

+ Conduct trench digging and utility installation as needed.

+ Ensure all operations comply with OSHA standards and regulations.

**Essential Skills**

+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in civil/site work construction.

+ Ability to operate heavy equipment such as dozers, rollers, and excavators independently.

+ OSHA 10 Certification.

**Work Environment**

You will be working outdoors on large parking lots and non-highway roads, often under hot and sunny conditions. Teams vary in size from 2 to over 10 members depending on the project, reporting to the project foreman. The standard shift is from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm, with flexibility required for start and finish times. Overtime is common during busy seasons, and occasional overnight work may be necessary.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr.
