Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our construction team, specializing in Tenant Improvement (TI) projects. The ideal candidate has experience in commercial renovations and understands the fast-paced, detail-oriented nature of TI work. You will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and finishing various building components according to specifications and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities

- Perform framing, drywall, trim, doors, hardware, ceiling grids, casework, and finish carpentry tasks.
- Interpret blueprints, project drawings, and specifications to determine project layout and materials needed.
- Collaborate with project managers, superintendents, and subcontractors to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery of work.
- Install fixtures and features such as cabinetry, wall systems, and specialty finishes as required by tenant scope.
- Safely operate power tools and hand tools necessary for carpentry tasks.
- Maintain a clean and organized job site while adhering to safety standards and company policies.
- Assist with demolition and material handling during project preparation phases.
- Problem-solve field conditions and communicate issues or changes to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of carpentry experience, preferably with commercial TI projects.
- Proficiency in rough and finished carpentry, layout, and reading construction documents.
- Familiarity with commercial building systems, materials, and ADA/TI compliance standards.
- Strong understanding of job site safety requirements and OSHA standards.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced construction environment.
- Excellent attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
- Valid drivers license and reliable transportation.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor on construction sites.
