Position Summary

Works within individual limitations of skill and ability to build, install, troubleshoot, rebuild, and repair facility equipment using at least two highly developed skills. One of the highly developed skills being electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair. Must have good mechanical competency in several related areas.

Responsibilities

Must possess the ability to perform analysis, correct, and perform all necessary tests associated with installation, repair, and upkeep of all systems, equipment, machinery, tools and other plant operation systems as needed in any area located inside or outside the facility.

Assist in removal, repair, and relocating of machine tools.

Assist in diagnosing defects in equipment and making necessary repairs.

Repair and perform preventative maintenance of various types of equipment, machine tools, building plumbing and related equipment.

Must have knowledge in welding

Operator scissor lifts, forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Independent judgement of utilizing time efficiently and adaptable to change task requirements.

Qualifications

Has completed a full four year apprenticeship program or its equivalent to eight years.

Closing Statement

This position is considered weekly hourly paid, schedule from 6am-2pm with overtime when necessary.
