Rogers Group is seeking candidates to fill a position as a Heavy Equipment Operator in Vega Texas. The successful candidate for this position will be an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator and they must have an uncompromising focus on safety excellence.

The successful candidate for this role will have responsibilities that include but are not limited to:

Operate a variety of heavy equipment and machinery in a rock quarry including dozer, excavator, front end loader, dredge, haul truck, and general work around the quarry operation.

Perform daily pre and post inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with company policies.

Perform servicing and maintenance of equipment as trained and directed by management.

Operate equipment with a high degree of competency, skill, and proficiency.

Properly follow all company policies and MSHA / environmental regulations for safe working procedures and environment.

Other duties as assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience operating heavy equipment required.

Individuals must be dedicated to always operating safely.

Dozer Experience a plus.

Individual must be willing to perform any task required at quarry.

Must be able to identify and alert management to maintenance issues with equipment.

Ability to complete pre-operation inspection paperwork.

Flexibility to work overtime and weekends when necessary.

Team player attitude.

Must pass pre-employment drug screening.
