Open Positions:
Junior/Senior CAD Technician (2-5+ years of experience)
CAD Technician (1+ years of experience)
Junior/Senior Survey Party Chief (2-5+ years of experience)
Instrument Man (2+ years of experience)
Research/Administration (2+ years of experience)
& Responsibilities:
Lead a field survey crew, conducting geodetic surveys for construction and other projects.
Participate in pre-survey planning and assign tasks to team members.
Operate and adjust surveying equipment (e.g., GPS, total stations) to gather and analyze data.
Prepare detailed survey reports, maps, and drawings using software like Carlson, AutoCAD, Trimble Access, and more.
Maintain field data records, reports, and notes, while overseeing survey equipment maintenance.
Train team members on surveying techniques and technology.
Perform complex calculations and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Essential Skills:
Strong leadership, communication, and technical skills.
Proficiency in surveying methods and software.
Ability to perform advanced mathematical calculations and data analysis.
Effective problem-solving and independent judgment capabilities.
Ability to conduct fieldwork in diverse and potentially hazardous conditions.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of land use and environmental planning principles.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with a basic understanding of QuickBooks.
Strong report writing and public communication abilities.
Experience working collaboratively in diverse team settings.
Reliable transportation and commitment to punctuality and confidentiality.
Working Conditions:
This role involves both office and outdoor work, requiring the ability to navigate uneven terrain and handle equipment safely.
Employment Details:
Start Date: ASAP
Location: All American Surveying HQ Office - 111 N. Dixon St., Gainesville, TX 76240
Work Hours: Monday - Friday (8:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
Compensation: +$16/hr. DOE + 90-day and annual review
Other Compensation: Sick Time and PTO
Other Benefits: Health insurance + Dental + Vision + 3rd Party Additional Insurances Available
