The Opportunity

This job function will be performed at the auction near Belcamp, MD (Bel Air Auto Auction). Candidate must reside in the Belcamp, MD or surrounding area as required to visit local physical auction site.

As a Physical Auction Supervisor, you will spend your day guiding your team, ensuring procedures are followed and serving as a liaison between the customer, dealerships, vendors and financial institutions.

The Work Itself

Handle the remarketing activities at designated auction(s), performing assigned duties and ensuring compliance with company standards and guidelines. Direct sale activities with a focus on achievement of both company and client objectives. Lead and maintain a good working relationship with auction and clients, while acting as the liaison for Ally in all facets of company business activities. Create, develop, and grow the Ally SmartLane environment for dealers offering vehicles in the Ally sale lane.

The Skills You Bring

Associate / Bachelor's degree in business related discipline preferred.

4+ years in customer service or financial services industry is required.

Prior leadership experience is preferred.

Project management skills and ability to effectively prioritize tasks.

Strong decision making and demonstrated leadership ability.

High level of interpersonal skills to work effectively with others.

Knowledge of used vehicle market and distribution systems.

Strong analytical ability.

Extensive experience with and understanding of Ally operations and overall branch operations.
