Electrical Superintendent

Aerotek is hiring for Electrical Superintendents Job Summary: The Electrical Superintendent oversees and coordinates the electrical aspects of construction or maintenance projects. This role ensures that all electrical work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage electrical crews and subcontractors on-site. Plan and schedule electrical work, ensuring alignment with project timelines. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings. Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and safety regulations. Inspect installations and systems to ensure quality and functionality. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades. Maintain accurate records of work progress, materials, and labor. Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues as they arise. Conduct safety meetings and enforce safety protocols. Assist in procurement of electrical materials and equipment. Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; technical training or associate degree in electrical technology preferred. Licensed Master or Journeyman Electrician (as required by state/local regulations). 5+ years of experience in electrical construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and construction practices. Proficient in reading blueprints and electrical schematics. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. OSHA certification is a plus. Work Environment: Primarily field-based with some office duties. May involve working in various weather conditions and at heights. Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $72800.00 - $83200.00/yr.
