Maintenance Electrician Job Description We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician who is open to working all shifts. Initially, you will start on the first shift for 3-6 months. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, utilizing your electrical skills to troubleshoot PLC systems, particularly Siemens, and work with electrical systems up to 480V. Responsibilities Troubleshoot and repair PLC systems with a focus on Siemens technology. Work with electrical systems up to 480V. Understand and apply Ladder Logic in troubleshooting processes. Connect to and navigate within network systems. Utilize basic hand and power tools, such as screwdrivers and wrenches, for maintenance tasks. Engage in preventive maintenance and wiring tasks to ensure machinery efficiency. Essential Skills 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance. Strong electrical skills, particularly in PLC troubleshooting. Understanding of Ladder Logic. Ability to connect to and navigate network systems. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in manufacturing, especially corrugated boxing, is a plus. Trade school education is advantageous. Knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems. Welding skills, particularly MIG and TIG, are a nice-to-have. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work in a manufacturing environment focused on corrugated boxes alongside a team of four mechanics per shift, totaling twelve mechanics. Steel-toed boots are mandatory, and you will be required to wear PPE at all times. The warehouse environment can be hot in the summer and cold in the winter, with strict adherence to LOTO protocols. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Exeter, California. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $44.00/hr.
