- **Welding and Cutting:** Utilize various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and stick welding, to join metal parts. Proficiently operate cutting equipment such as oxy-fuel torches, plasma cutters, and saws to shape and size materials.

- **Material Handling:** Accurately measure and mark materials for cutting and assembly. Ensure proper alignment and fit of metal parts by adjusting, positioning, and securing the parts.

- **Quality Assurance:** Conduct thorough inspections of fabricated components to ensure they meet specified tolerances, quality standards, and safety regulations. Make necessary adjustments or repairs to achieve desired outcomes.

- **Safety Compliance:** Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure all tools and equipment are used safely and correctly.

- **Collaboration and Communication:** Work collaboratively with team members, supervisors, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met. Communicate effectively regarding project updates, challenges, and requirements.

**Qualifications and Skills:**

- Proven experience in metal fabrication and fitting, preferably within an industrial or construction setting.

- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.

- Strong welding skills with knowledge of various welding techniques and equipment.

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

- Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials.

- Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to metal fabrication.

**Education and Experience:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in metal fabrication is a plus.

- Certification in welding or metal fabrication is desirable.
