Requirements for an HVAC/R Service Technician:
5+ years HVAC/R Service Technician experience, a must!
Commercial/Residential a must- 95% Commercial
Heavy commercial background and experience
Good analytical skills and attention to detail
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, manuals
Accurately diagnose electrical issues using multiple electrical diagram types
Excellent customer service skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including effectively communicating with internal staff and external customers alike.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Certification or registration with TDLR
EPA Universal
Responsibilities for an HVAC/R Service Technician
The Commercial Service Technician will install, maintain, diagnose and repair commercial HVAC/R equipment and assist the plumbing and controls department as needed.
Be available to work nights and weekends as needed and be on-call on a rotating basis to service customers' emergency needs.
Maintain company vehicle
Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle
Diagnose service issues, obtain replacement parts, calibrate the system to the manufacturer's recommendations, and explain fully to the customer what the issue is and what is needed to correct the problem
Participate in company/industry-provided training and events
Identify and report to dispatch potential opportunities for additional business (newer system, service contracts, additional services)
Perform related duties as assigned by the supervisor
Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
