[**Position Description:**

The Engineering Inspector position involves a broad range of duties associated with conducting field inspections and observing the construction and progress of water and wastewater projects. ]{georgia",="" serif"=""}

- [Observes installation of sanitary sewer and water lines. Requires proper materials and installation procedures be followed. ]{georgia",="" serif"=""}

- [Records inspection observation for permanent record. ]{georgia",="" serif"=""}

- [Investigates problems and complaints under the direct supervision of an Engineering Assistant or the Deputy Sanitary Engineer. ]{georgia",="" serif"=""}

**[Minimum Qualifications:

One (1) year construction experience or equivalent is preferred.
