Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Concrete Finishers for projects located in Beaufort, SC . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $20-24/hour based on experience and skill level plus $125/per diem for travelers 60+ miles from the job site. Job Scope:

Preparing, placing, leveling, smoothing and finishing concrete surfaces
Placing forms that hold concrete to the required depth and pitch is achieved
Monitoring the effect, heat, wind and cold have on curing concrete
Removing edges on expansion joints and sides
Set grades and prepare sub-base for concrete placement
Build and set concrete forms
Place and tie reinforcing steel rebar
Pour, spread and level concrete using hand and power tools
Perform edging, jointing, floating and troweling
Installing expansion joints, edges, anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills and other fixtures
Reading and interpreting blueprints, drawings and specifications
Other related tasks assigned

Requirements

Ability to mix, pour and spread concrete
Knowledge of curing times and methods
Ability to apply hardening and sealing compounds
Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent vocational school program completion is a plus
