Sr RS Cabinet Maker

Summary: Seeking a Senior Cabinet Maker with advanced expertise in cabinetmaking processes and products for fabricating high-quality furniture and wood-surfaced subassemblies.

• Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 4 years of experience in cabinetmaking
  • Advanced knowledge of cabinetmaking processes and products

• Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in aerospace industry

• Responsibilities:

  • Fabricates complex high-quality furniture and other wood-surfaced subassemblies using stationary and handheld tools
  • Interprets material specifications and design/engineering drawings to ensure finished product meets design requirements
  • Coordinates with supervision to ensure compliance with customer approved design samples
  • Utilizes a variety of woodworking tools and techniques
  • Complies with safety, 5S, housekeeping policies, ensuring protection of aircraft interiors
  • Works with lead technicians to develop process improvements using Lean Six-Sigma techniques
  • Utilizes material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, sign-off work
  • Conducts safety audits and assists team members in safety audits
  • Assists in maintaining shop equipment

Pay Details: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour
