Superintendent

Summary of responsibilities:

• Own the on-site duties of the project; Safety, Develop and maintain the project master schedule consistent with customer contract
  
  
• Schedule, Coordination, Quality, and Closeout
  
  
• Service as onsite Qualified Safety-Lead, implement the Safety Program and implement TQM Process.
  
  
• Read, understand and implement the contract with the Owner as well as the
  
  contract with subcontractors

• Schedule subcontractors/suppliers; equipment, tools, and material deliveries for the project.
  
  
• Maintain 3-week look-ahead schedules and distribute on a weekly basis
  
  
• Maintain daily reports through electronic system including detailed write-ups of each subcontractors actions onsite, manpower, equipment, weather, deliveries, progress and any other pertinent information by 8am the following day including photo
  
  
• Clear communications with Team members for issues, needs, or other.
  
  
• Maintain positive communication with project manager, Owners, subcontractors, and suppliers advising them of on-site progress.
  
  
• Maintain an understanding of the financial standing of the project and inform the PM of any cost-related issues in a timely manner.
  
  
• Effectively and timely punchout and closeout the projects
  
  
• Actively participate in improvement practices with fellow Superintendents as well as investigate, document and suggest continual improvements.
  
  
• Together with PM, review project schedule no less than Bi-weekly.
  
  
• Assist in the management of the Submittal document process including; Initial review with PM; notification of requirements to subcontractors at subcontractor interactions.
  
  
• Satisfactorily perform duties based on; Zero-accident Safety Goal is met; projects are completed on time and within budget including the Punchlist and Closeout process.
  
  

Education and Experience Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
  
  
• Basic first aid training
  
  
• 10-hour OSHA Training
