Fab Shop Pipefitter

Overview**

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable **Pipefitter** to join our team in our Fabrication Shop. The ideal candidate will have experience with all processes of pipefitting, especially weld pipe and metal fabricating. Candidate should also possess a strong attention to detail, and the ability to read blueprints and follow technical drawings. This is a full-time position working primarily in our fabrication shop.

**Responsibilities**

+ Perform measurements and takeoffs on piping systems

+ Fit up for welders on various welding processes

+ Fabricate and assemble metal structures, steel pipes and components per specifications

+ Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols

+ Operate grinders, cutting torches, and other shop tools as needed

+ Inspect welds for accuracy and quality

+ Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure projects are completed on time

**Qualifications**

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ Proficient with various pipefitting techniques

+ Ability to read blueprints and fabrication drawings

+ Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail

+ Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment

+ Welding certification(s) a plus but not required

+ Valid Drivers License
