Design Draftsman

We are currently working with a well-established design/build group that has an immediate opening for a Desgin Drafter in the Western Indiana area. The company has continued to grow and is now looking to add to its design and drafting team. This is again a thriving organization with new and innovative projects both locally and nationally. If you have a strong drafting background and AutoCAD, Revit, or other structural design software experience and are interested in advancing in your profession, then let's talk!

Draftsman Responsibilities/Duties:

• Build relationships with the construction team
• Understand engineering terms, concepts and programs
• Create thorough drawings ready for Material Take Off team
• Provide support to different teams in need of Auto-Cad drawings
• Manage several projects simultaneously to meet project deadlines

Draftsman Qualifications:

• Associate degree in Design & Drafting Technology
• 2+ years of large structural drafting experience
• AutoCAD, CAD, and Revit experience
• General construction knowledge
• Experience with design software and Microsoft programs
