Position Overview:
We are seeking accomplished diesel mechanics specializing in heavy equipment such as cranes, tractors, bulldozers, excavators, graders, and diesel trucks. The ideal candidates will adeptly inspect, diagnose, and repair these machinery types efficiently. This is a direct-hire position for a local company in the Beaumont, TX area.

Experience Levels & Compensation:

• 5+ Years Experience: Competitive pay rate starting at $30+ per hour.
• Less than 5 Years Experience: Starting rate at $20+ per hour; higher rates are negotiable for candidates with exceptional backgrounds.

Requirements:

• Expertise in diesel engines, hydraulic systems, electrical systems, brake systems, transmissions, and drivetrain systems.
• Must maintain a clean driving record for a minimum of three years.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Occasionally required to work on school properties.

Working Hours:

• Regular schedule: Monday - Friday.
• Ample overtime opportunities available, with the option to work throughout the week if desired.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Paid lunch breaks.
• Holiday pay eligibility after 90 days.
• Note: Health insurance is not included.
• Includes a company truck and fuel card.

Job Duties:

• Inspect heavy construction equipment to ensure proper performance.
• Diagnose and repair faults using computerized tools or manual methods.
• Adjust or replace defective parts as needed.
• Conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubricating equipment.
• Service attachments and working tools.
• Potential repair work on heavy trucks.
