Dozer Operator

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for a long-term opportunity in Iron Ridge, WI.

PAY: $35.00/hr
HOURS: 4050 hours per week
SCHEDULE: MondayFriday | 7:00 AM 5:00 PM
START DATE: ASAP
DURATION: Temp-to-Perm
This is a temp-to-perm position with a reputable contractor working on site development and excavation projects. Candidates must be proficient in operating various types of heavy equipment and capable of assisting with groundwork when needed

.Job Description:

Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, dozers, and other earth-moving equipment to perform grading, trenching, and excavation work
Read and interpret site plans and grade stakes
Operate equipment in a safe and efficient manner, following all company and OSHA safety protocols
Assist with general labor and groundwork tasks as needed
Perform daily equipment inspections and report any mechanical issues
Follow directions from supervisors to meet project timelines and standards
Work in various weather conditions and terrains
Qualifications:

4+ years of heavy equipment operation experience in site development or a related field
Proven experience with excavators and dozers is required
Experience operating GPS-enabled equipment is a strong plus
Knowledge of basic OSHA safety regulations
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong attention to detail and commitment to job safety
Additional Requirements:

Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to and from the shop or job site
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves
