The right candidate will

• Work from drawings and sketches with a minimum of instruction.

• Operate common shop tools and equipment.
• Utilize overhead crane and material handling equipment.
• Ability to use fork truck in tight spaces.
• Use precision measuring tools.
• Record measurements, record pertinent information as required.
• Read and interpret prints, including welding prints.
• Weld per SMAW, GMAW, GTAW standards; vertical up, vertical down, and horizontal.
• Air carbon arc cutting.
• Use horizontal and vertical saws, torch, and cut off wheel.
• Set up and operate all welding machines, be able to do basic troubleshooting.
• Follow instructions and established procedures.
• Automated welder experience is a plus.
• Overhead Crane experience is a plus.

What you will need

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid Driver’s License
• Possess written and verbal skills
• Math Skills
• Reasoning skills
• Language skills
