Hiring For Welders- Weekend Shift- $28-31/hr

Welder Job Description We are seeking a skilled welder to join our team at the Troutville location. The role offers various shifts including A shift from 6 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Thursday, with the option for overtime, and additional shifts on weekends. (Currently WEEKEND SHIFT ARE NEEDED-Friday-Sunday) The ideal candidate will possess expertise in Stick, MIG, Flux Core, or Acetylene Torch welding. Responsibilities Follow verbal and written instructions, ensuring personal responsibility for the quality of workmanship and safety. Review, read, and understand blueprints, tape measures, and perform basic shop-related mathematical calculations. Obtain precut parts from the storage area as needed. Weld component assemblies according to specifications, ensuring quality and accuracy of work. Perform routine maintenance and adjustment of welding equipment as needed. Sign or initial own work and record production as required by the area supervisor. Maintain a neat and organized work area and complete daily housekeeping assignments. Operate machines for the production of pre-welding parts as needed. Clean all welded parts, grind, and de-bur parts prior to release. Essential Skills Experience in MIG, Stick, Flux Core, and Acetylene Torch welding (ideally 2 years). Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Proficient in plasma cutting, grinding, beveling, and cutting torch operations. Strong understanding of welding techniques and materials such as aluminum and stainless steel. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Troutville, Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $28.44/hr.
