Job Title: Senior Architect
Job Description

Responsibilities
- Develop technical drawings throughout all phases of a project.
- Provide experiential and technical knowledge to solve design and construction issues.
- Communicate priorities to both internal and external project teams.
- Ensure quality of work products.
- Develop and enforce CAD/Revit standards.
- Assist in preparing project schedules and implementing project work plans.
- Interact with outside consultants and agencies.
- Collaborate with a team on larger projects.
Essential Skills
- Architectural degree from an accredited university.
- 10 to 15 years of experience in production and coordination of documents in all phases of architectural practice.
- Experience in commercial, healthcare, and industrial projects; multifamily experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is a must; Revit experience is a plus.
- Ability to work on multiple projects and phases each week.
- Strong knowledge of CAD and Revit software.
- Proficient in development and documentation standards for design and construction drawings.
- Thorough understanding of technical terminology in the architectural and construction industry.

- Ability to listen and communicate effectively and professionally both verbally and in writing.
- Coordinate projects with team members and consultants to resolve conflicts and discrepancies.
- Display willingness to make decisions and exhibit sound judgment.
- Support design efforts and ensure design intent is followed through all phases.
- Knowledge of best practices for professional quality drawings.
- Prepare complex plans, elevations, and details.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of applicable building codes for independent code analysis and compliance.
- Review submittals and shop drawings during construction.
