Job Description The role of the Construction Project Manager is to manage day-to-day operations of the project, procure materials required, hold weekly project meetings, schedule subcontractors, and lead field crews. This individual will be working on Multi-Family projects managing all individuals on-site including subcontractors, vendors, clients, and customers. Responsibilities
- Obtain permits and entitlements by working with the city.
- Collaborate with surveyors and excavators to establish boundaries, site grades, and site controls.
- Procure materials and coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery.
- Schedule trades to maintain the project schedule and complete work efficiently.
- Educate trade contractors to enhance their understanding of construction documents.
- Collaborate with trade contractors to resolve issues in a cost-efficient manner.
- Possess a strong understanding of Apartments/Condos, Townhomes, and Land Development.
- 0-5+ years of professional experience as a Project Manager on construction projects.
- High School Diploma required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction preferred.
- Proficiency in ConstructConnect, SmartBid, Bluebeam, Blue Beam, ProCore, and Estimating.
- 2+ years of experience managing entire commercial projects from inception to completion.
- 1+ years of experience working on Multi-Family projects.
- Multi-Family ground-up build experience preferred.
