Architectural Designer

Job Description

As an Architectural Designer, you will contribute to high-end residential projects with a focus on detailed drawing production and collaboration with structural and MEP consultants. This role offers the opportunity to integrate consultant drawings effectively without leading coordination efforts. You will engage in client and consultant interactions, providing valuable input while adhering to project timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Produce comprehensive drawing sets for high-end residential projects.
  • Coordinate with structural and MEP consultants to integrate their drawings.
  • Participate in weekly site visits as part of construction administration responsibilities.
  • Collaborate with clients and consultants to ensure project requirements are met.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
  • Experience in residential design, particularly high-end/luxury projects.
  • A Bachelors degree in Architecture, preferably from classical education institutions such as Notre Dame, Miami, or Yale.
  • 45 years of experience at an intermediate level in architectural design.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience with new construction, including wood frame or steel/concrete builds.
  • Project management and construction administration skills.
  • Familiarity with single-family residential projects.
Work Environment

The work environment requires 100% on-site presence with workstations equipped with towers and dual monitors.

Regular working hours are from 9 AM to 6 PM,

The firm supports continuing education by covering 50% of ARE test costs and encouraging licensure.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr.
