Construction Quality Control Manager
Job Description

Inspect the project before, during, and after construction to ensure compliance with safety and quality specifications. Develop and maintain a quality control (QC) plan, tracking findings through documents and forms. Supervise construction work, ensuring it aligns with defined standards. Ensure adherence to legal, safety, and environmental regulations. Regularly report the project status to executives and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect construction projects to ensure safety and quality compliance.
  • Develop and maintain a quality control (QC) plan, documenting findings.
  • Supervise construction activities to meet established standards.
  • Ensure compliance with legal, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Report project status regularly to executives and stakeholders.
Essential Skills
  • Proficiency in Procore, USACE, and quality control processes.
  • Experience with QCS/RMS systems.
  • Understanding of construction management, OSHA 30, and federal construction regulations.
  • 5+ years of experience in federal construction projects valued at $10M or higher.
  • Knowledge of construction functions such as prints, plans, procedures, scheduling, and testing.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Completion of the USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors course within the last 5 years.
  • In-depth understanding of all construction divisions with emphasis on site work.
  • Preferred possession of OSHA 30 certification.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of QCS/RMS System.
Work Environment

The position is based at the VA Cemetery Construction project in Holly, Michigan. The work environment emphasizes collaboration and communication, utilizing advanced technologies and systems for project management and safety.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
