Job Description

Manage all on-site resources to ensure a safe project environment while maintaining high-quality control measures for all Geopier element installations. Set up projects for productive installations and foster open communication and teamwork with clients, superintendents, project managers, and crew.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all quality control measures are strictly enforced.
• Set up projects to ensure quality and productive installations.
• Provide open communication and teamwork with clients, superintendents, project managers, and crew.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and utilized.
• Monitor material quality upon delivery to meet specifications.
• Enter quality control information daily for project manager and engineering review.
• Coach and mentor equipment operators and quality control employees.
• Treat others with respect.
• Evaluate equipment at project start and completion prior to transport.
• Complete internal production system (R-Link) reporting accurately and timely.
• Engage and identify suggestions from crew members for efficiency and production improvements.

• Construction and civil engineering experience.
• Deep foundation and ground improvement knowledge.
• Civil construction expertise.
• Heavy equipment operation skills.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Effective communication skills with customers and employees.

• Experience with deep foundations or ground improvement techniques including drilled or driven vertical piles, excavation, bracing, sheeting and shoring, or auger piles.
• Willingness to work overtime and travel between projects within MD/DC/VA/NC/PA.
• Physical ability to lift, climb, walk through wet or dry construction sites, push, and carry.
• Willingness to work in extreme mid-Atlantic temperatures.
• Heavy equipment experience with skid steers or excavators.
• Basic proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.

Work Environment

Work primarily outdoors, traveling between various civil work sites such as hospitals, data centers, and highways. Be prepared for varying weather conditions and the physical demands typical of construction environments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Purcellville, Virginia.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $104016.00/yr.

Travel pay and per diem in addition to earned compensation, Medical/Dental/Vision, short-term/long-term disability, tuition savings program, free basic life insurance, 401K with company contribution, bonus and regular market salary reviews, voluntary benefit plans options available, (hospitalization, critical illness and additional life insurance), paid vacation
