- Ensure all quality control measures are strictly enforced.
- Set up projects to ensure quality and productive installations.
- Provide open communication and teamwork with clients, superintendents, project managers, and crew.
- Ensure equipment is properly maintained and utilized.
- Monitor material quality upon delivery to meet specifications.
- Enter quality control information daily for project manager and engineering review.
- Coach and mentor equipment operators and quality control employees.
- Treat others with respect.
- Evaluate equipment at project start and completion prior to transport.
- Complete internal production system (R-Link) reporting accurately and timely.
- Engage and identify suggestions from crew members for efficiency and production improvements.
- Construction and civil engineering experience.
- Deep foundation and ground improvement knowledge.
- Civil construction expertise.
- Heavy equipment operation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedures.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Effective communication skills with customers and employees.
- Experience with deep foundations or ground improvement techniques including drilled or driven vertical piles, excavation, bracing, sheeting and shoring, or auger piles.
- Willingness to work overtime and travel between projects within MD/DC/VA/NC/PA.
- Physical ability to lift, climb, walk through wet or dry construction sites, push, and carry.
- Willingness to work in extreme mid-Atlantic temperatures.
- Heavy equipment experience with skid steers or excavators.
- Basic proficiency in computer software including Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
