Inside Plant Cable Technician

We are looking for cable technicians to help support the build of a large data center. These resources will be responsible for setting up the newly built environment by building out the infrastructure to include: pulling cable, patching cable, server installation and connection.

Wyoming license, LV-C or LV-G required.

Daily Responsibilities (Rough-In & Low Voltage Integration)

+ Begin with rough-in tasks : install conduit throughout the building and pull pole string, preparing pathways for future cable runs.

+ Perform initial cable pulls from Point A to Point B, following scheduled drawings for accuracy and compliance.

+ Support security system installation (phase 1) : run cable from panel to door locations; coil extra slack neatly for the next contractor handling termination.

+ Execute cable dressing and organization , keeping all bundles tidy, labeled, and ready for future access.

+ Complete camera runs : pull long Cat6 lines from network rooms into ceiling-mounted housing via basket trays, leaving service loops at endpoints.

+ Route network cabling into ladder racks and tray systems for backbone infrastructure.

+ After all pulls are completed, assist with Fluke testing of camera cabling for certification and performance validation.

+ Coordinate with foreman for QA/QC review of all installations to ensure compliance and quality.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
