Key Responsibilities:

• Develop detailed construction budgets by reviewing plans and updating specifications

• Identify and accurately project material, labor, and overall construction costs

• Solicit, evaluate, and negotiate bids from vendors and subcontractors

• Perform scope, quantity, and unit cost reconciliations

• Support project managers in preparing and maintaining accurate budgets and timelines

• Draft and manage construction contracts; secure permits and assess risk

• Ensure project quality and compliance through regular communication and oversight

• Monitor active projects to confirm alignment with budget and schedule

Requirements:

• 5+ years of residential construction estimating experience

• Proven ability to manage detailed budgets, scope, and cost forecasting

• Preferred experience with custom options, vendor coordination, value engineering, variance requests , and detailed pricing

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
