Cable Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled cable technician to join our team. You will work Monday through Thursday, with 10-hour shifts, totaling 40+ hours per week, with the possibility of a 5-day workweek in the future. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the installation of cable pathways, including j-hooks and cable trays, adhering to BICSI standards. You will be involved in pulling and terminating Cat6 and Cat6a cables and testing these installations using advanced equipment. The ability to read blueprints is essential, and you'll occasionally be required to work at heights up to 40 feet using a scissor lift or boom lift. Fiber pulling and installation will also be part of your duties, and the ability to terminate fiber is considered a bonus.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install cable pathways, including j-hooks and cable trays, following BICSI standards.
+ Pull and terminate Cat6 and Cat6a cables.
+ Test terminations and cable installations using specialized equipment.
+ Read and interpret blueprints accurately.
+ Work at heights up to 40 feet using scissor lifts or boom lifts.
+ Pull and install fiber optic cables.
+ Install data cabinets.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum of 2 years experience in termination and testing of Cat6 and Cat6a cables.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Certification to work at heights up to 40 feet using scissor lifts.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Fiber optic experience.
+ Ability to terminate fiber optic cables.
+ IEC/ABC electrical certification.
+ Aerial Lift Certification.
+ OSHA10 certification.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
