Fabricator**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will efficiently manage job orders by interpreting BOMs and blueprints to prepare necessary parts and materials for fabrication processes. You will play a crucial role in layout, preparation, and assembly of materials, contributing to our production goals in a collaborative environment.
**Responsibilities**
+ Interpret job orders and Bill of Materials (BOM) to gather necessary parts and materials.
+ Analyze drawings and blueprints to create accurate cut lists.
+ Determine material specifications, including angles, lengths, and widths.
+ Layout material holes for punching/drilling and prep parts for assembly.
+ Assist with tack welding and support assembly processes.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience in fabricating and fitting.
+ Proficiency in layout and blueprint/BOM interpretation.
+ Familiarity with hard steel, aluminum, and stainless materials.
+ Job shop experience.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with press brake, shearing, and punch press.
+ Proficiency in grind wheel and saw operations.
+ Ability to handle hand rail and round pipe fitting.
+ Certifications, apprenticeships, or degrees are considered a plus.

**Work Environment**
This role operates within a job shop manufacturing environment with around 15 employees on the first shift. Be prepared for temperature variations in different seasons. Safety gear such as safety glasses, hard hats, and steel toe shoes are mandatory. The dress code is casual, allowing jeans and appropriate t-shirts. Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, with occasional Saturdays as required by work orders.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $23.00/hr.
