CCS Construction Staffing is actively hiring highly skilled HVAC / Sheet Metal Technicians for commercial projects in Waxahachie, TX. We are seeking experienced tradesmen with specific copper experience and advanced sheet metal fabrication skills. This is not a helper-level position - 5-6 years minimum experience is required.

Job Duties:

• Fabricate, assemble, and install sheet metal products, including copper ductwork, panels, and flashing

• Perform brazing, soldering, and forming of copper components

• Use hand tools, power tools, and metal forming equipment (e.g., press brakes, shears, rollers)

• Cut, bend, shape, and join copper sheets to exact specifications

• Read and interpret blueprints, layouts, and project specifications

• Ensure quality work while following safety protocols on-site

Requirements:

• 5-6 years minimum HVAC/sheet metal experience

• License preferred, but journeyman-level equivalent experience is acceptable

• Must have specific copper experience: brazing, soldering, and forming

• Proficient with fabrication and installation of sheet metal products

• Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and forming equipment

• Must bring full PPE: hard hat, vest, safety glasses, gloves, and boots (Agency logos allowed; no GC logos)

• Must supply basic sheet metal tools and hand tools

• Reliable transportation

• Can be English, bilingual, or Spanish-speaking

• Must be able to work 40+ hours/week and remain drug-free
