Construction Technology Specialist

Key Functions
- Conduct discovery sessions on active projects to uncover undocumented or tribal knowledge around jobsite execution
- Observe, interview, and document means & methods with an eye towards standardization and scalability
- Build standardized Action Plans and Inspections in Procore that drive real-world workflows and ensure compliance, safety, quality, and efficiency
- Ensure templates are reusable and aligned with organizational SOPs and operational KPIs
- Design and implement digital workflows in Procore that solve business problems and reduce administrative friction
- Deliver short-cycle interventions that improve cost, schedule, or field execution
- Join project teams in the field for 2-5-day engagements to troubleshoot adoption issues, reinforce best practices, and build field-specific SOPs
- Serve as the tactical frontline of the Procore initiative under the Chief of Staff's office
- Author SOPs, process maps, one-pagers, and short-form videos based on embedded field experiences
- Help curate a "special missions" playbook that will form the backbone of the Strategic Adoption Service's future offerings
- Work directly with Estimating, Finance, IT, Safety, BIM/Drone, Preconstruction, Fleet, Technology, and Operations to ensure workflows connect tools with business objectives
- Support the Chief of Staff in identifying strategic gaps and developing enterprise-wide adoption frameworks
Desired Qualifications
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in electrical infrastructure (e.g., transmission, substations, renewables) heavy civil construction (e.g., utilities, roadwork, rail/lightrail, bridges, site development), or oil/gas construction
- Demonstrated responsibility across all four project lifecycle phases (Estimating, Preconstruction, Operations, and Closeout)
- Experience with both self-perform crews and subcontractor oversight
- Deep operational experience with Procore demonstrated ability to learn modern technologies quickly and integrate them back into Procore-based workflows (e.g., HCSS, Bluebeam GIS, drone mapping, safety platforms)
- Strong communicator and listener
- Systems thinker who sees Procore not just as a toolset, but as an operating system for the business
- Capable of documenting and standardizing construction means & methods from field observation
- Comfortable in ambiguity and ready to help build the foundation of a new service unit from scratch
