Salary Range: $96,000 to $115,000

Without the strength of our Quality team, we would not be able to offer the industry-leading service we're known for. We're seeking an experienced Quality Supervisor Professional. The ideal candidate will have proven industry experience as a Quality Supervisor.

As a strong communicator and skilled hands-on Quality Supervisor, you will be communicating expectations clearly, triage tasks appropriately, and train employees on the latest product standards to ensure the highest safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency. Therefore, all products and services meet or exceed government, industry, and company specifications.

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Performs other managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training employees.
  • Responsible for finished product and raw material testing procedures and protocols at manufacturing and transload locations.
  • Develops, implements, and reviews quality programs and procedures.
  • Works closely with Manufacturing, other Quality Assurance departments, and other support groups (e.g., Logistics, Warehouse) in the areas of cGMP compliance and quality systems
  • Resolves day-to-day questions that arise on products, product specs, rework, complaints, plant QC procedures, FDA/EPA requirements.
  • Maintains safety procedures in the laboratory.
  • Assures quality control and records product and process audits, QSB (Quality System Basic) implementation.
  • Coordinates product fail analysis, corrective actions and feedback to customers through specific reports
  • Ensure inspector plans are adequate
  • Set daily/weekly/monthly objectives and communicate them to employees
  • Organize workflow by assigning responsibilities and preparing schedules
  • Overseeandcoach employees
  • Submit reports on performance and progress
  • Identify issues in efficiency and suggest improvements

REQUIRED RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (green card holder) or other status as a U.S. Person)

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • 3-4 years of experience
  • Aerospace background is a plus.
  • Experience with composite and metallic structures is a plus.
  • Ability to read, speak and write in English.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Constant standing/walking/sitting for at least 8 hours.
  • Occasional pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying up to 50 lbs, minimum 35 lbs.
  • Sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other office equipment.
  • Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less. Corrective lenses may be worn to fulfill requirement.
  • Prolonged periods of repetitive movement are required.
  • Constant holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s).
  • Occasional extending of arms to reach overhead, at shoulder level and below shoulder level.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • This position operates in a warehouse/shop/manufacturing environment

  • Occasional travel may be required for this position
