Key Responsibilities

  • Process all field requests for materials, rentals, hotels, etc. via purchase order and process in Viewpoint. Copy requisitioner when placing the order.
  • Confirm correct pricing and approve invoices for payment as required.
  • Solicit quotes for materials and services.
  • Order materials and coordinate delivery.
  • Seek out alternative vendors for established goods purchased.
  • Build vendor relationships.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Update tracking sheets including Equipment and Rentals as needed.
  • Follow up and assist with back orders etc.
  • Process all return paperwork immediately to ensure we receive full credit.
  • Cross train in all aspects of purchasing to qualify as backup as needed.
  • Assist in purchasing all tools including ladders as needed and after receiving approval from department manager.
  • Assist with coordinating with the Warehouse staff on all new tool information required for the Tool Program.
  • Assist in rental equipment ordering as necessary for all departments.
  • Assist in calling off rental equipment when instructed by qualified field employees as needed.
  • Follow up on rental equipment as needed.
  • Call for repairs on rentals as soon as notified.

Qualifications

  • Good communication and organizational skills.
  • 2 years purchasing or sales experience in piping and/or plumbing preferred and or a mechanical background.
  • Strong Computer skills in Microsoft Office Products including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Bi-Lingual is preferred but not required.
