Required and Preferred Qualifications

Required Education: Relevant coursework/specialized training If any degree major/training is required, please specify the type. (NOTE: Concentration and minors are not equivalent to a major)

Completion of a four year apprentice program or a two year vocational technical program in electronics.

Required Experience 3 years If any experience is required, please specify what kind of experience:

Responsible experience as an electrician, in a commercial and residential environment.

Required License Yes If yes, what is the required licensure/certification?

1. Valid State of Nebraska Journeyman's or Electrical Contractor License.

2. Valid driver's license.

Required Computer Applications: Not Applicable Required Other Computer Applications: Required Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

1. Knowledge of Motor Control Centers and Variable Speed Drives and ability to troubleshoot.

2. Knowledge of Automatic Transfer Switches and ability to troubleshoot.

3. Knowledge of High Voltage Distribution (15 kv and 5 kv ) and ability to troubleshoot.

4. Knowledge of Fire Alarm Systems and ability to troubleshoot.

5. Ability to demonstrate analytical skills and use of electronic test equipment.
