We are hiring a Senior Construction Inspector with Water/Wastewater experience for a WRF in Yuma, Az.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
This Water Reclamation Facility Project will expand an existing 3.3 MGD to 6.6 MGD capacity, utilizing existing treatment processes, as well as make improvements to the existing facility located in Yuma, Az.
Seasoned Inspector will provide construction oversight/inspection of civil water/wastewater facility improvements. This position ensures that contractors performing work on facilities projects are within building codes, regulations, contract specifications, and drawings through ongoing regular inspections and testing.
Conduct inspections and site observations as required to document the quality of the work being installed:
- Oversight of construction of water mains, sanitary sewers, tunnels, water or wastewater treatment plant modification, water or wastewater pumping stations, construction of sidewalks, roads, intersection improvements or bridge and/or roadway improvements.
- Perform daily quality assurance inspection during construction for pipelines installations and water or wastewater plant upgrades.
- Daily construction inspection to determine that work is proceeding in accordance with Contract Documents. Maintain daily written diaries observations made during construction.
- Participate in weekly and monthly progress meetings. Attend construction meetings with city and contractor. Upon completion of job, take pictures of final job site for records and provide paysheet of pay items to contractors for work that was completed.
