Marine Electrician Job Description Seeking experienced Marine Electricians with experience in ship repair and mechanical systems to join our team. The ideal candidates will have experience in maintenance, repair, and modification of shipboard systems, integrated systems, and related equipment/software. Responsibilities Install, operate, maintain, repair, and modify equipment. Perform maintenance and technical support on shipboard systems and related equipment/software at various locations. Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions to eliminate problems efficiently. Provide work direction and support to team members. Develop and use technical documents including work packages, processes, procedures, and reports. Schedule and report progress to customers and senior management. Perform duties outside of specialty to complete installations or work assignments. Essential Skills 4+ years of experience as an electrician Experience in marine systems, ship repair, valves, electrical systems, hydraulics, and diesel engines. Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing structural and mechanical systems. Ability to use power tools and measurement devices. Capability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and manuals. Knowledge of safety and quality control procedures. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
