Role: (Senior) Industrial Utilities Engineer Location: Little Rock, Arkansas, USAType: Full-TimeExperience Required: 7 a 15 yearsWork Authorisation: US Citizens or Green Card Holders only Role Overview: A global leader in large-scale industrial manufacturing is seeking a Senior Mechanical Utility Engineer to join its state-of-the-art facility in Little Rock, AR. This role offers the chance to lead complex utility projects in a high-impact environment supporting the energy and heavy manufacturing sectors. This is a key engineering role for an individual with deep technical knowledge, proven leadership, and a hands-on approach to problem solving. Key Responsibilities: Design, select, install, and optimise mechanical and utility systems across production operationsLead installation and commissioning of heavy equipment and industrial utility systemsDevelop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programsManage utility-related capital projects from concept to completionConduct technical risk assessments and lead troubleshooting of complex systemsEnsure systems are energy efficient, cost-effective, and compliant with engineering standardsMentor and guide junior engineers and techniciansEnsure documentation is up to date, including engineering drawings and SOPsCollaborate cross-functionally with production, safety, and facilities teamsLead root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for system failuresPromote and enforce a safety-first culture, aligned with OSHA standards MUST-HAVE Skills: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (Master's preferred)7+ years of experience in mechanical/utility engineering within industrial manufacturingExperience with installation, commissioning, and optimisation of heavy industrial equipmentStrong knowledge of compressors, cooling towers, pneumatic systems, and water managementKnowledge of engineering codes and standards (ASME, API, etc.)Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skillsExperience leading utility-related capital projectsAbility to read and develop technical drawings, specifications, and documentationUnderstanding of OSHA standards and commitment to industrial safetyUS Citizenship or Green Card Holder status Nice-To-Have Skills: Professional Engineering (PE) licenseExperience with utility system modelling or simulation toolsPrior mentoring or leadership of junior engineers or technical teamsExposure to energy efficiency or sustainability improvement initiativesFamiliarity with SCADA systems or CMMS (e.g., SAP PM, Maximo)Experience developing long-term infrastructure plans for utility systemsWillingness to relocate (relocation reimbursement available) Benefits: 401(k) with company matchingMedical, dental, vision, and life insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) optionsUp to $10,000 relocation reimbursement (with signed repayment agreement if tenure is less than 12 months) Important Guidelines: Only U.S. citizens or Green Card holders will be consideredTwo to three rounds, including technical and HR interviews.
