Underground Wet Utilities Pipelayer Foreman Location: Arvada, Colorado Job Type: Contract (Full-Time) About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Underground Wet Utilities Pipelayer Foreman to lead and manage field crews in the installation of water, storm, and sanitary sewer systems. This leadership role requires a hands-on professional with a strong background in underground utility construction, a commitment to safety, and the ability to drive productivity and quality on-site. As a Foreman, you will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of workmanship and safety. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise daily operations of pipelayers and laborers on underground wet utility projects. Interpret and work from construction drawings, blueprints, and site plans to ensure accurate utility installation. Coordinate and oversee the installation of water mains, storm drains, and sanitary sewer lines. Operate and direct the use of heavy machinery including excavators, loaders, and compactors. Enforce strict adherence to OSHA and company safety standards. Communicate effectively with project managers, inspectors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project execution. Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members to promote a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement. Monitor project progress and adjust work plans as needed to meet deadlines and quality expectations. Qualifications & Skills Required: Minimum 5 years of experience in underground wet utility construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role. Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents and utility layouts. Strong understanding of OSHA regulations, trench safety, and best practices in underground utility work. Proven leadership and team management skills in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Physically capable of performing demanding tasks in various weather conditions. Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish. CDL (Commercial Driver's License).
