Drywaller or Drywall Helper Location: Portland, Oregon Job Type: Full-Time Salary: Pay depending on experience Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Drywaller to join our restoration team in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation, repair, and finishing, and will be responsible for ensuring high-quality workmanship on all projects. Key Responsibilities: Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine material requirements. Measure, cut, and fit drywall panels to walls and ceilings. Secure drywall panels to the building framework using screws, nails, or adhesive. Apply tape and joint compound to seams, corners, and angles. Sand and smooth drywall surfaces to prepare for painting or finishing. Ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations. Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Drywaller or similar role. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Proficient in measuring, cutting, and installing drywall. Skilled in applying joint compound and sanding surfaces. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
