**Job Description**
Join our team as a MIG Welder, where you will be responsible for welding various types of steel and alloys for playground equipment. You will primarily work with thin materials, such as stainless steel, aluminum, and black steel, up to 1/8" thick. These materials require careful handling due to their sensitivity. You will weld from blueprints, and while the materials are prepped by others, you will need to move fixtures into your welding bay, which may involve lifting up to 50 lbs.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welding on various types of steel and alloys.
+ Read and interpret welding blueprints accurately.
+ Move fixtures into the welding bay and handle materials safely.
+ Maintain a clean and organized welding booth.
+ Ensure high-quality welds on thin gauge materials.
**Essential Skills**
+ At least 1 year of recent experience in MIG welding or equivalent schooling.
+ Proficiency in reading welding blueprints.
+ Ability to read a tape measure to 1/32".
+ Capability to lift up to 50 lbs without restrictions.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ 2-year Welding Degree is a plus.
+ Experience in pipe welding is advantageous.
