**Job Summary:**

Mid State Oil Tools is seeking a skilled and certified Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for joining, fabricating, and repairing metal structures and equipment through the use of various welding techniques. This role requires precision, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.

**Key Responsibilities**

- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, Stick, Torch, Plasma, Oxy acetylene braising, Etc..

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings, and be gifted as a fabricator.

- Operate hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment safely and efficiently

- Inspect welded surfaces and structure to ensure quality and adherence to specifications

- Prepare surfaces and materials for welding (e.g., cleaning, grinding, cutting)

- Maintain welding equipment and report maintenance needs

- Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe work environment

- Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within scope

**Requirements:**

- High school diploma or GED

- Valid welder certifications

- Proven experience as a welder in industrial, construction, or manufacturing settings

- Ability to read and understand welding symbols and blueprints

- Familiarity with safety standards and OSHA regulations

- Strong physical stamina and manual dexterity

- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills

- Some travel may be required for Field Welding, cutting and capping wells, Welding truck will be provided (requires Chauffeur's License)

**Work Description**

- Monday-Friday 7:00am to 5:00 PM

- Some Saturday work required

- 50 hrs. a week
