Job Description
Wiremann Electric is an electrical contractor located in Greenfield (southwest) Iowa. Our primary consumer is government municipalities as we specialize in the installation of electrical at water and wastewater treatment facilities. Supervisory Responsibilities
Responsible for overseeing the individual JOBS for activity and accuracy
Organizes and oversees the work and schedules
Ensures the overall project is running smoothly and efficiently at all times
Liaison between Company Owner, General Contractor, and On-Site Inspector
Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
Handles discipline and termination of employees as needed and in accordance with company policy
Responsible for ensuring field employees are adequately trained and performing to maximum potential
Duties/Responsibilities
Works with project manager and office staff to ensure projects are ran efficiently and all deadlines are met as required
Responsible for Job layout and planning to ensure projects are meeting specifications as designed. Ensure proper conformance to job plans and specifications are met
Ensures work environments are adequate and safe
Communicates with field crew as necessary to clearly review, answer questions, explain new directives, policies, or procedures and maintain morale
Leads coordination and integration of efforts among field employees to produce a smooth workflow
Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community
Performs other related duties as assigned
Required Skills/Abilities
Thorough understanding of prints, attention to detail, ability to interpret and meet compliance with job(s) specification and policies relating to the electrical industry
Superior verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
Superior managerial and diplomacy skills
Extremely proficient with computers, mainstream software, and current technology
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills
Education and Experience
Current Iowa Journeyman Electrical License is required
Previous experience in running jobs up to $5,000,000.00
Extensive and diversified background with at least 3 years of related experience
