Chassis Electrical Technician**
**Pay: Depends on Experience**
**MondayFriday, 6:00 AM 3:30 PM**
**Are you an experienced Automotive Electrical Technician with a passion for chassis systems, ready to take the next step in your career? If so, this position is for you!** A well-established manufacturer of premium service trucks in Sheldon, IA is looking for a Chassis Electrical Technician to join their expanding team. In this role, you'll be responsible for working closely with the engineering and production teams to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Install and wire electrical components in chassis systems accurately and efficiently, following engineering specifications and wiring diagrams.
+ Read and interpret complex engineering drawings and schematics to ensure proper and compliant electrical installations.
+ Troubleshoot and resolve electrical system issues using strong problem-solving skills to maintain reliability and performance.
+ Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance with close attention to detail, ensuring adherence to safety standards and minimizing potential failures.
+ Collaborate effectively with engineering and production teams to improve system designs, enhance installation processes, and accurately document all work in line with company procedures.
**Requirements:**
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical certification in electrical technology preferred.
+ Proven experience as an electrical technician, ideally within the automotive or heavy equipment manufacturing industry.
+ Strong knowledge of electrical systems, with the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and chassis-specific schematics.
+ Excellent troubleshooting skills and familiarity with safety regulations, standards, and best practices in an industrial setting.
+ Strong communication and teamwork abilities, with a focus on collaboration in cross-functional environments.
