**Overview**

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry techniques and a passion for quality craftsmanship. This role involves working on diverse projects, including new constructions, renovations, and restorations. The Carpenter will be responsible for executing tasks with precision and attention to detail while ensuring safety and compliance with industry standards.

**Responsibilities**

- Construct, install, and repair structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and wallboard.

- Lay tiles and perform concrete forming for flooring and other surfaces.

- Assemble furniture and cabinetry according to specifications.

- Installing doors and windows, hanging cabinets, and constructing structures such as walls, floors, roofs, and decks, and more.

- Perform heavy lifting as required for materials and equipment.

- Apply caulking for sealing joints and seams in various installations.

- Frame metal studs for walls as needed in commercial or residential settings.

- Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure project completion within deadlines.

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

**Qualifications**

- Proven experience in carpentry or a related field is preferred.

- Skills in tile laying, concrete forming, heavy lifting, assembly, restoration industry practices, maintenance person tasks, caulking, cabinet installation, and metal stud framing are highly desirable.

- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with clients and colleagues.

- Valid Drivers license

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
