Carpenter - Fort Miller Precast

Fort Miller Precast is located in Greenwich, NY, has full time, year round openings for individuals with form carpentry and construction experience. We are looking for self-motivated individuals with a high attention to detail. The duties of the Carpenter will include the building, set up and repair of complex wooden or composite forms. General housekeeping such as sweeping, cleaning and putting away tools is also required. Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• The ability to read and interpret basic to complex shop drawings.
• The ability to work alone or as part of a team.
• The ability to read a tape measure and understand common measurements of length.
• The ability to use all carpentry tools safely and efficiently.
• The ability to perform heavy physical labor.
• The ability to access equipment at various levels by reaching or climbing a ladder, bend over, walk, kneel and stand for extended periods of time.
• The ability to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends.
