**Compensation**
The base hourly rate for this position is \$30.52.

**Position Overview**
This is a skilled level position working to install, maintain, and
repair electrical equipment in the plant and coordinate with outside
contractors on electrical projects. The job requires that the employee
be able to work safely and follow safety rules. Employee must be
dependable, able to follow instructions and directions, according to
established operating procedures, performs the following duties while
cooperating with all levels within the organization in support of the
four Johns Manville core values: **People, Passion, Performance and
Protection:**
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**
Supports and promotes safe practices and environmental commitments in
alignment with company commitments, policies, and compliance
requirements
Wears all personal protective equipment as required by management,
including but not limited to all or some of the following: protective
shoes, glasses, ear plugs, bump cap or hard hat, gloves, dust mask or
respirator
Must know, understand, and perform all plant and departmental safety
regulations and procedures and immediately reports any hazardous
conditions
Performs safety observations and complete training assignments
Must know and understand company policies, regulations, and procedures
regarding employee conduct and attendance
Excellent attendance and attitude
Diagnose, troubleshot and repair all electrical equipment and motors
Design and install new electrical systems and system modifications
Check and calibrate process control instrumentation throughout plant
Annual inspection and cleaning of motor control centers and electrical
switchgear
Make adjustments to electrical parts of equipment and control systems
where needed
Coordinate with outside contractors on electrical projects
Program and install programmable logic controllers
Follow NFPA 70E electrical safety in the workplace standards
Comprehend electrical schematics and blueprints
Monthly inspection of ISO temperature checks for ovens
Ann ual inspection for shorts in breakers, wiring and supervise testing
