Construction Manager Location: Buffalo, WY Company: WyoDak Energy Services Job Type: Full-Time Reports To: Lead Estimator/Management Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Manager to join our heavy civil and utility construction team. This position is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates and managing projects from bid award through completion. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in heavy civil constructionincluding earthwork, utilities, fiber optics, grading, and possess strong leadership and organizational skills. --- Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and oversee all phases of construction projects, ensuring timelines, safety, budgets, and quality standards are met. Develop project schedules and coordinate with crews, subcontractors, and suppliers. Monitor field progress and resolve any construction or contractual issues. Track and control construction costs against the project budget. Maintain communication with clients, engineers, and inspectors to ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle. Manage change orders, RFIs, and documentation in accordance with contract requirements. Prepare submittal packages for engineering review & provide approvals to project superintendents for construction. --- Qualifications: 5+ years of experience in construction management in heavy civil and utility construction. Proven knowledge of construction methods, materials, scheduling, and budgeting. Proficiency in or ability to learn construction management and scheduling software (e.g., HCSS, HeavyBid, Foundation, Primavera, P6, Procore and Mircosoft Projects. Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. Ability to read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical documents. OSHA certification and a valid driver's license preferred. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field is a plus but not required. --- Working Conditions: Combination of office and field work. May require travel to job sites.
