Environmental, Health and Safety Manager

Venn Group EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety) Manager BPSS 12-Month Contract On-site in Chester 40 per hour (Inside IR35, Umbrella) Our market-leading client require an EHS Manager to join them on a long-term contract. Key Responsibilities: Ensure risk controls and legal compliance across FMRE operations and service providers, including CDM and Building Safety Act requirements. Conduct EHS inspections, audits, and contractor pre-qualification reviews. Advise on health, safety, and environmental aspects of strategic projects, including design and feasibility stages. Investigate incidents effectively and ensure implementation of corrective actions. Promote EHS culture through KPIs, training, inductions, and awareness campaigns across all organisational levels. Skills/Experience Required: NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum) and experience in Facilities Management safety practices. Strong understanding of EHS legislation, standards, and risk assessment techniques. Demonstrated experience engaging stakeholders in fast-paced, safety-critical environments. Experience in auditing, compliance monitoring, and contractor management. IOSH membership (desired) and a proactive, autonomous working style with strong team collaboration.
