About the Position

This is a time limited NS-14 position. This position is with the Public Safety Planning Division (PSP), Canton, MS in Madison County and will serve as the Statewide Acadis Training and Compliance Manager. The position plays a critical role in the implementation, administration, and continuous improvement of Mississippi's Law Enforcement Training and Compliance tracking system and will manage the statewide onboarding of officers, dispatchers, and jailers into the Acadis platform while ensuring agency-wide adoption, data integrity, and user proficiency. This role will be modernizing training records, automating compliance, and improving public safety outcomes through standardized systems. Some additional duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to Statewide Program Management and System Oversight, Training Implementation and Support, Compliance and Reporting Administration, and Interagency and Stakeholder Coordination, and represent the department at conferences, training councils, and law enforcement technology meetings.

Preferred Qualifications

Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 4-6 years of relevant experience. Agency preferred qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or Information Systems. The agency prefers a Master's Degree or certification in Project Management, Law Enforcement Leadership, or Instructional Design is preferred, and a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Law Enforcement, Public Safety Administration, or State-Level Training Program Management
