Are you a detail-oriented construction professional with a passion for precision estimating and high-end millwork? This is an opportunity to join a reputable and growing national contractor that specializes in commercial and retail fixture installation.
You'll play a key role in a collaborative preconstruction team focused on delivering accurate takeoffs, timelines, and competitive pricing in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Construction Estimator Responsibilities
Analyze job specifications, architectural drawings, and RFQ documents to define scope and identify risk
Perform accurate quantity takeoffs and assign estimated hours using internal time standards
Prepare comprehensive cost analyses for labor, travel, and related expenses
Attend pre-bid meetings and engage directly with clients as needed
Ensure all estimates comply with internal procedures and profitability goals
Deliver internal project briefings upon award to support seamless handoff to operations
Construction Estimator Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Wood Technology, or a related field preferred
3+ years of estimating experience in retail or commercial construction with a focus on labor and/or millwork
Strong understanding of Architectural Woodwork Institute (AWI) standards
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat
Experience with or ability to learn TRAX (estimating/scheduling software) and Spectrum (accounting software)
Advanced blueprint reading. quantity takeoff skills, knowledge of millwork, cabinetry, and fixture installation techniques
